NOTE: The walk begins at 11am, but turn up at 10am if you fancy a ride on the toboggan. It's only £12.50 for two goes and is a bit of fun. No need to book - it's right there at the starting point so you can turn up and decide. There's a café there too for those fancying a cuppa or late breakfast.

Llandudno is many things; bustling on bank holidays, blustery on the hilltops, but always lovely. By some miracle it's been spared the usual urban decline faced by many British coastal towns and retains much of its Victorian splendour.

On this saunter by the seaside we'll take in a number of Llandudno's landmarks, including the pier, the promenade, the botanical gardens, the Elephant's Cave and all the delights, sights and heights of the Great Orme.

A somewhat shorter walk this one, suitable for most abilities, although the Great Orme does have a few steep bits. Still plenty to appreciate however, with breathtaking views out to sea and back across Llandudno bay. And if we're super lucky we'll get to see some seals lounging on the beaches too!

It's a bit further afield than our usual trips out but it's perfectly doable driving there and back in one day from Macclesfield. Alternatively, accommodation in Llandudno is reasonably priced.
