About us
Learning Serbian is one thing. Living in Serbia is another.
This group is for internationals who already live in Serbia, speak some Serbian, and want to understand the language and culture beyond what you usually find in a textbook.
We'll explore the Serbian you actually hear around you — everyday expressions, humor, habits, films, books, music, art, traditions and all those little cultural details that make Serbia feel like Serbia.
But this isn't a class.
Our events will be relaxed, carefully curated evenings built around conversation, culture and discovery. We might discuss a Serbian film, explore a short story, talk about why coffee here can last for three hours, discover the story behind an artwork, or simply unpack expressions you've heard a hundred times but never quite understood.
Most importantly, you'll have plenty of opportunities to speak Serbian in a natural, welcoming environment, meet other internationals living here and exchange perspectives.
You don't need perfect Serbian. A conversational level (around A2+) and curiosity about Serbia are enough.
Come when a topic interests you. There is no commitment and no need to attend every event.
Each gathering is simply a chance to leave with one new expression, one new story, one new perspective — and a little better understanding of the place you call home.
