Sunday Inspiration Service - It’s Never Too Late & It’s Never Too Soon

Details

Life is timeless and ageless. Only we believe in early or late. Life is happening now! So what are we gonna do with that now? This week, we celebrate the freedom from slavery that was completed on Juneteenth in Texas, as well as the beginning of the freedom of summer. Let's break out and celebrate!
During June, as we celebrate Pride month, Juneteenth, Pentecost, the beginning of summer and the Islamic New Year, we'll explore what all this invitation to live full out - and fully out - means for each of us. Almost all of us have been "closeted" in some aspect of our lives. It's time to celebrate the incredibleness that we are with our monthly theme of "The Lightness of Being Incredible" supported by Elizabeth Gilbert's fun and wonderful book "Big Magic."
For our first week, titled "In Living Color" (with a nod to the 90's TV show) we examine the kind of life we're living. Do I settle for a black and white life? Or only shades of gray? There's a whole Technicolor world available!
This month, we will explore the profound impact of self-advocacy, boundary setting, and conflict resolution on our personal and collective well-being. This exploration underlines how embracing our individual and collective voice, setting boundaries, and transforming conflicts are essential for creating a more connected, just, and harmonious world.
We're playing in a field of infinite possibility and infinite Good. Do we try to stay comfortable, not challenging ourselves? Or do we answer that inner call to expand?

Our weekly Sunday Service explores ideas from many faith traditions and how to live practically as a spiritual person in today's world. We are based on the Science of Mind, (not related to Scientology) the work of Ernest Holmes, one of the best known New Thought teachers and writers of the 1900's. Music, meditation, talk, youth program. We are an open and affirming community for all. We begin with a 15 minute meditation at 10:30. The service, beginning at 11, consists of an opening prayer, meditation, music, talk, and an invitation to support this community. In addition to our in-person, we will livestream to YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgO1a71-xK5o8JL8vMaPbYA
