Sunday Talk - Living the Teaching
Details
(Monthly summary:) During May, we'll explore four core concepts of our teaching - Oneness, the Law, The Creative Process, and "mental equivalents." And we'll use some interactive processes to help deepen our understanding.
This week: Having familiarized ourselves with four Core Concepts of our teaching, we now explore how to live them in our lives. In order to live them we have to move them from intellectual knowledge to embodiment. We’ll have a special guest helping us with that.
Brent Pendleton and Lavon Hardison give us music to embody.
Our weekly Sunday Service explores ideas from many faith traditions and how to live practically as a spiritual person in today's world. We are based on the Science of Mind, (not related to Scientology) the work of Ernest Holmes, one of the best known New Thought teachers and writers of the 20th century. We have music, meditation, talk, and a youth program. We are an open and affirming community for all. We begin with a 15 minute meditation at 10:30. The service, beginning at 11, consists of an opening prayer, meditation, music, talk, and an invitation to support this community. In addition to being in-person, we livestream to YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgO1a71-xK5o8JL8vMaPbYA
