About us

Space Coast Real Estate Investors Monthly Meetup is a working group for people investing in real estate in Brevard County and along the Space Coast. We meet in person, everybody talks, and you leave knowing more people than when you walked in.

We meet the fourth Tuesday of every month at Tin Whiskey in Cocoa. Doors at 5:30, we start at 6:00, and the room stays open for networking until the venue closes at 9:00.

WHAT HAPPENS AT A MEETING

Everyone in the room says what they are working on and where they are stuck. That is how you find the person who already solved your problem, and how somebody finds you. Then a thirty minute training on one topic, which changes every month. Then open questions. Then one member brings a live situation and the room works through it together. Then open networking for the rest of the evening.

Topics rotate across wholesaling, rehabbing, rentals, financing structures, private capital, notes, and marketing.

WHO IT IS FOR

Every experience level, from people who have not done a deal yet to people doing this full time. What we ask is that you participate, and that you can take direct feedback without taking it personally. This is a discussion, not a lecture, and nobody hides in the back.

DETAILS

Admission is $10 if you RSVP in advance and $20 at the door, paid to the organizer at the meeting. Food and drink are separate. Tin Whiskey gives us the room, so please order something while you are there. This is an 18+ group, and meetings are held in a restaurant and bar.

ORGANIZER AND AFFILIATION

Keith Gillispie organizes and hosts every meeting in person and is your point of contact. He is a full-time investor who has done deals in 34 states, previously ran the largest real estate investment association on Oahu, and has coached over 1,200 investors. He is also the founder of REI Automated, a software company for real estate investors, and he sells investing education. Everyone who attends receives one of his courses at no cost, and he may describe his products at meetings. Nothing is ever required to be purchased, and there is no obligation to buy anything in order to attend or participate.

Nothing discussed at meetings is financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and no outcome is promised or implied. Real estate investing carries risk, including loss of capital. Consult a licensed Florida attorney and your own advisors before acting on anything you hear here.
