About us

Welcome! In the San Diego Seratones Choir we meet weekly to sing, do. vocal exercises for breathing, strength, freedom, and range. We learn beautiful music in many languages, in two, three and four part harmony. We perform one to three times each semester and we enjoy our rehearsals!

Our group members are diverse, interesting and lively. The group gives lots of support, smiles, laughter, and we are all doing something we all love. Singing!!!

We meet every Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM in the Continuing Education Building at Mesa College, 7350 Armstrong Place, San Diego, CA 92111, Room 118. It's free.

This class is offered through the SDCCD Continuing Ed, Emeritus program. The new semester starts on August 25. No cost, no auditions.

If you love to sing, I invite you to join the San Diego Seratones Choir. Our fall semester starts on August 25. There are so many benefits to singing with others - see the article, linked below about the mental and physical benefits to singing with others.
Our group is looking for committed singers. No auditions! No cost! What a wonderful way to spend a Tuesday evening.
The ability to read music is helpful but not needed, as recordings are provided for all music.
We will learn songs from varied styles in 2, 3, and 4 part harmony (world, folk, classical, jazz standards), and exercises to strengthen flexibility and range.
The Seratones choir has a supportive environment full of wonderful and diverse music and people who share your love of singing.
We perform one to three times each semester.
We will be meeting in the multi-purpose room of the CE building C118. Bring water and lets sing!
