Workshop and Discussion - Attachment Styles, Attachment Disorders, & Friendship
McMenamins Broadway Pub, 1504 NE Broadway, Portland, OR, USI believe that connecting with other people is what brings purpose and meaning to our lives. Attachment disorders are, unfortunately, a barrier to connection - and are usually not well understood. This event is meant to be a discussion about attachment styles. Hopefully by the end, you will understand your attachment style better and have some actionable steps to take to improve your future connections with others.
This event was inspired by Adam Lane Smith, who specializes in discussing attachment. Specifically, we will use this video as a template for our discussion: I Spent 15 Years Studying Attachment Theory and Here's What I Found
You are encouraged to watch the video before the event, but it is not a requirement. Feel free to attend if you have not had a chance to watch it - I'm sure you'll still get value out of the discussion.
After the discussion, there will be time to free style mingle with other attendees and perhaps make a new friend before the night is done.
If this sounds intriguing to you, I look forward to seeing you here!
