Make New Friends with DEEP CONVERSATIONS

Are you tired of all the small talk? Well, let's cut through the superficial pleasantries and get right to the good stuff. During this event, you are encouraged to have conversations about deep topics, like:

... why does humanity exist?
... should society punish someone for stealing a loaf of bread to feed their family?
... if a tree falls in the forest, but no one is there, does it make a sound?
... who is the best Star Trek captain?
... or whatever other deep topic you wish to discuss.

This will be a social event, where you can mix and mingle and join as many conversations as you like. But, I imagine most people would break into small groups to have more focused conversations.

**If you are new to Meetup, or if coming to a social event makes you a little anxious, please know I will try to personally greet everyone who comes to this event. And also help introduce you into a conversation, if you like.**

The event starts at 6pm, but please feel free to stop by anytime while the event is going on. There is no such thing as being late.

The Hostel Cafe is excited to host this event. Depending on the amount of people who RSVP and attend, we might fill up substantially the entire place. But, if you have any question where we are, please ask the staff and I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.
