Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I wanted to do an event on Thanksgiving for all the folks who might be in town by themselves.

I believe that connecting with other people is what brings purpose and meaning to our lives. This event combines an opportunity to be healthy (go for a walk) and perhaps make a connection, as I'm sure plenty of conversation will be happening during the walking.

The plan is to meet at the trailhead between McMenamins and Oswego Grill on the Vancouver waterfront. Then, we will walk west toward downtown Vancouver and make the round trip coming back to where we started. Most of the walk will be on the river and affords some amazing scenery. The entire walk should be about 4 miles and take about an hour and a half.

I know there are a couple restaurants in the area that will be open on Thanksgiving, although I have no idea how busy they might be. But, there may be some opportunity to share a meal if you make a connection during the walk.
