MIDWEEK DIP AND DIVE MEETUP at BIGGERSTAFF RETREAT is hosted by St. John's MEETUP and CONNECT.
We want EVERYONE to enjoy swimming on beautiful Lake Keowee at no cost, so we are opening up our area to the community every Wednesday in July from 5-8 pm.
Because there is no lifeguard on duty, we ask you follow these simple rules:

• No swimming unless an adult 18+ is present
• Swim only in designated area as defined by the adult leader. We will generally stay in the inside cove off the dock and/or platform
• If you are not a confident swimmer, we have plenty of life jackets with whistles available to borrow
• Swim only in safe weather. Event will be cancelled during inclement weather.

Please feel free to bring your own chairs, blanket, food and non-alcoholic drink, floats, water shoes, whatever you would like to make this a fun time for you and your group.

Please join St. John's Lutheran Church at Biggerstaff for this free community event. We will be having one last "BASH" before school starts. There will be food and frozen treats provided. We will have outdoor games along with a special service project should you wish to participate. If you have never been out to Biggerstaff, this is a great opportunity to see how beautiful our view of Lake Keowee is as well as our facilities.

Come join St. John's Book Club for a discussion on "This is Happiness" by Niall Williams.

About our group:
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm. We read a variety of genres, and members play an active role in choosing books as well as leading discussion. Our "overarching question" used for discussion is: What does this book, character or writer ask the reader to consider morally, spiritually or theologically?
In September, the group will be setting the 2026-2027 list of books.
If you are a lover of reading (or listening) to books, please check us out. We would love to have you attend.
