Lake experience: Depart Biggerstaff Retreat landing around 9:00 and vessel towards the island and/or South Cove County Park. Return around 11:00. There are restroom facilities at Biggerstaff.
What to bring:
Personal identification: Carry in a drybag/waterproof pack along with emergency contact, allergies, medicines as may assist emergency responders.
Light Snack/Plenty of Water: If you carry it in, carry it out.
What to wear: Suggest a bathing suit/clothes that can get wet, water shoes/sandals, hat/sunglasses.
Other gear: Kayak/canoe, whistle, lifejacket, sun block, toilet paper in zip-lock bags, insect repellent. NOTE: Biggerstaff has limited Kayak/Canoes with lifejackets/whistles so it is imperative that you sign-up in advance of event so that we know how many need to borrow a vessel and if we are able to accommodate.
Rules: Biggerstaff Retreat Policy requires each vessel to have a person 18 or older, so children will need to be in a tandem vessel with an adult. Life jackets/whistles are also required.
