Experience the wilderness while in the city! This hike is going to blow your mind! It’s pretty unique to feel like you’re in the middle of the mountains while being in Johns Creek. Walk along the Chattahoochee River, enjoy great fellowship and the beauty of God’s creation.

*If you’ve never been to an Echo event, this is the perfect time to come! You will definitely meet other first-timers and leave feeling encouraged and connected*

This will be an easy hike with a difficulty level of D2 with a distance of 2.7 miles.
For your sake and the sake of the group, please do not assume beyond your ability.
D1 Easy (beginner hikers) mostly flat
D2 Easy to moderate (regular hikers) some hills
D3 Moderate (a cardio workout) mountainous
D4 Moderate to strenuous (challenging workout) Steep grades/agility
D5 Strenuous (serious physical challenge) Very steep and far

TIME: 10am – 12pm (Please note: get there early to secure parking! If you are late, we cannot hold up the entire group for you)

***IMPORTANT*** If using Apple Maps, type in, “Jones Bridge Trail” but if you’re using Google Maps, type in, “Jones Bridge Park North Trailhead.”
You will turn onto Jones Bridge Access Rd from Barnwell Road.

LUNCH: Immediately following hike at Uptown Café – 9850 Nesbit Ferry Rd, Unit 23 Alpharetta, GA 30022

DEVOTIONAL: We will have a quick devotional out on the trail!

WHAT TO BRING: Small Day Pack to carry your gear- rain jacket, camera, water, snacks, etc.
Optional Things to Bring: Bible, Hiking Poles, First-Aid Kit, GPS.
No children or animals please.

KEEP IN MIND: There are always dangerous and unforeseen elements when out in nature: Cliffs, water hazards, weather, animals, insects, reptiles, falling limbs or rocks, Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. Trails may be un-maintained, slippery, rocky, icy and have steep embankments. Shoes and clothing may get muddy or wet. The woods are your bathroom.
