About us

Calling all poetry workers with a passion for creativity and self-expression! Join us for a Poetry Workshop that blends personal growth with artistic exploration. Through writing and group discussions, we will delve into the craft while exchanging ideas and inspiration.
Whether you're an experienced poet or just starting out on your creative journey, this meetup is perfect for connecting with like-minded individuals and exploring communication through the power of poetry. Focus on language, imagery, metaphor, cadence, meaning, structures and more. Poetry is the verbal hub of influence. All levels welcome at this workshop: unpublished and published, beginners and veterans.
Time: 8 pm - 10 pm Thursdays
Place: Unitarian Church cnr. 18th St/Arizona, in Santa Monica. Workshop meets in "The Cottage" on the church grounds.
Bring a poem and copies: you can read. Visitors and listeners also welcome.
