We shall meet at Leon in Cheapside which is more or less opposite St Paul’s tube. We shall then proceed to the hidden clocks of the City. Many are so strange that local workers never realise what they are.

This will be followed by a short walk along the Thames where we will learn about the Black Friers, Propaganda Duo and celebrity human sacrifice (yes really).

Finally the hidden beauty of the Inner and Middle Temples. If it rains I have an indoor alternative so do not worry about the weather. Commercial tours of this length cost £25 and generally show you nothing that is not in the guide books. I suggest a donation of £10 but this is entirely up to you.

We shall meet at the Strand entrance of Somerset House. I shall have a Union Flag and a green rucksack with me (and a sloth). We shall see an exhibition called Virtual Beauty which may or may not enlighten us.

We shall then proceed to a nearby coffee house where I shall give Tarot readings. These will be quite simple as I am learning but already my readings are astonishingly useful. No. I have no idea how it all works.

Next will be the Court of Arches that draws its power from the Magna Carter and yet few know exists.

Finally we will see he Bank of England which operates largely independently of the Treasury and involves itself in all sorts of things.

All three buildings are beautiful and close together and will give an insight into the ways Britain is governed that you are unlikely to find elsewhere.
