About us
Launched in 2020 by Wheelock and The DO, WLAB is Hong Kong’s social impact and innovation hub dedicated to creating a happier, healthier, and more sustainable city. Located in a revitalised heritage building in Quarry Bay, it connects professionals from finance, banking, law, business, sustainability, and the creative sectors through hands-on collaboration and learning.
Since its opening, WLAB has welcomed over 12,000 members and hosted more than 380 activations — from expert panels and DO Salons to community gatherings — focused on smart cities, circular economy, mental health, and entrepreneurship with a proptech and smart mobility lens. Its signature programs, including the Inclusive Cities Summit and The DO Challenge, focus on youth engagement, sustainability, and community wellbeing.
