New Years Day Hike

We will start the new year off with a St Pats hike. We will also hike through Madeline Bertrand if the trail is open for hiking.
St Pats park has a nice layout with many nature moments to see. They have an Osprey nest and an Eagles nest. The eagles are usually working on their nest this time of year, we may be able to have an eagle sighting. The trails are pretty clear, easy trails with a few roots to watch for. This will be a moderate hike, pet and family friendly. Dogs must be on a leash.
For those interested in a bit to eat after, there is a Chinese restaurant nearby on 933.
They shouldn’t be charging an entrance fee that day.
The only park entrance is off of Auten Rd in Indiana. There is no entrance to St Pats park in Michigan.
We will meet down by the river, in the boat launch parking lot. Go through the entrance, turn right and take that road down to the river. Pass the kids play area and the red barn.
