San Francisco Women Artists, located at 647 Irving Street in San Francisco, is a historic nonprofit arts organization which supports and promotes the talents of Bay Area artists, provides exhibition opportunities and offers an inviting space for the community to experience art. SFWA welcomes all Bay Area artists and remains firmly committed to promoting equity in the arts for all people. We host monthly art receptions and sketching events open to the public.

Winter Solstice Inner Sunset Art Walk – Dec 19 | HUNT & GATHER
San Francisco Women Artists Gallery (#24 on the map) will extend its hours to welcome ART WALK attendees to see their current collection of work. Complimentary light refreshments.
View our current exhibition "Solstice Celebrations 2025" and the SFWA Artists Salon. We also have ceramics, glass, sculpture, unframed prints, cards and jewelry for that special gift!3 attendees
Sketch Club at the De Young Observation Tower
de Young Museum, 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Dr.,, San Francisco, CA, USSFWA Artists Gallery is celebrating its 100th anniversary! Its roots go back to the late 1800s when it was called The Sketch Club. We're bringing it back by getting together to sketch and paint in our beautiful city! It will be a great way to connect and meet fellow members, artists and get some creative time in.
This month we're moving indoors where it's a little warmer to catch some art and breathtaking aerial views!
Date: December 21st, 12pm - as long as you like
Location: De Young Observation Tower in Golden Gate Park
Admission to the tower is always free and your SFWA membership card allows you free general admission.

FEBRUARY EXHIBITION
February is the month to fall in love with color. Artists should submit works that are lush, vivid and saturated with hues. We are looking for bold color and high contrast; stimulating, delectable palettes that may evoke intense emotion. All 2D and 3D media, and all artistic styles are welcome, [except video]
