SFWA welcomes all Bay Area artists regardless of gender - and remains firmly committed to promoting equity in the arts for all people.
SFWA believes arts and culture play a role in creating a thriving Bay Area by ensuring the voices, experiences and traditions of all individuals and communities can be appreciated and celebrated.

Your membership in SFWA will bring you into an active and supportive art community, hosting monthly exhibitions, events and receptions, sale of your work, networking events and workshops, including affordable wall space in the Artist Salon area for individual exhibits. The SFWA Gallery showcases contemporary art, jewelry, sculpture and ceramics.
