About us
Hutchkins University is a free, monthly DIY events zine published in Denver, CO. Each issue is a full-color, printed calendar of community-centered events, and this group is where we organize, share, and promote those events, including our annual Denver Halloween Pillow Fight. Learn more at hutchkinsuniversity.org.
Who should join: anyone in Denver who enjoys getting out and meeting people in person, including neighbors, artists, students, organizers, zine and print fans, and people new to the city. All backgrounds are welcome.
What to expect: regular in-person gatherings and community events around Denver, posted here in advance with the date, time, and location. Most are free or low-cost, casual, and open to newcomers. We also share where to pick up the zine and which local 3rd spaces are worth checking out.
