Soft Lite Hotshots will be focused on studio-based photography experiences. In small group settings, we will explore various studio shooting setups. These experiences will be centered around learning:
Off-camera lighting techniques
Multi-fixture lighting setups
Advanced and multi-layer lighting scenarios
Mixed temperature lighting situations
Filter-based and effect lighting scenarios
These studio photo shoots will explore all genres of studio photography, including but not limited to:
Styled Portraiture
Posing Guidance and Techniques
Boudoir and Lingerie Styling
Fine Art Implied and Nude Imaging
Special Effect and Makeup Technique Imaging
The vast majority of our shoots will be held at our 6000' studio space located in the Bridge Park development in the Dublin area. Some special shoots may be held outdoors as the weather permits or in specifically selected locations. Group members will have access to professional lighting gear and guidance ordinarily unavailable in a tutorial environment.
The group events will be a mixture of free events and fee-based events. Fee-based events will include professional talent either as instructors or as models for the shoot. Anticipate one group membership meeting per month, free of charges, for members to discuss past, present and future issues, receive base level instruction on equipment and techniques, as well as participate in group critiques.
