This is a great Meetup volunteer group for singles, retirees, students, and individuals who are available and simply want to give back in a meaningful way and leave our world a better place.

MVP Group Meetup Subscription Fundraiser
If you have benefitted from being an MVP member and would like the group to continue, please consider helping pay the Meetup Organizer Subscription cost. πΈ
The next six month subscription begins on FEB 7.
This will mark MVP's official THREE YEAR anniversary! π
Among our nearly 800 MVP members, I will need to raise at least $178.99 for a six month Organizer Subscription to keep our volunteer group moving forward.
Contributions can be made via:
- VENMO (click on link)
- ZELLE - send to: mvp_volunteers@yahoo.com
- in person at the next MVP event
- or by whatever means you can contribute.
Hopefully with a decent percentage of members chipping in, we can meet that goal.
Any amount that you can afford to contribute would be greatly appreciated!
It is a true pleasure to continue to serve the Greater Pittsburgh community with you all!
I am looking forward to yet another great year of service for our group in 2026! π

Thank you!

βοΈ Pittsburgh Snow Angels! See event description for details πͺ βοΈ
Various location in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pittsburgh, PA, USWe have neighbors in need that cannot handle safely shoveling snow off of their walk during the winter. Piled up snow on city streets from plowing makes it even more difficult at times.
Let's give them a hand as much as we can!
Please let me know if you BECOME A SNOW ANGEL and what NEIGHBORHOOD/S you choose and maybe members can meet up that way! π
All the info yinz need is provided in the links below:
City of Pittsburgh Snow Angel Volunteer Sign Up Link
Remember to choose the "Volunteer" sign up tab, unless you need help yourself.
Snow Angel Volunteer Application
This is probably the better of the two links as it will take you DIRECTLY to the Volunteer Application
_______________________________________________________
From the City of Pittsburgh:
The 2025-26 Snow Angel Program is NOW OPEN and accepting applications!
The Cityβs Snow Angels Program pairs older residents and people with disabilities with nearby neighbors to assist with snow removal on their sidewalks and walkways.
Along with fostering stronger community relationships and relieving some of the stress that comes from a heavy snowfall or freeze, Snow Angels make our sidewalks safer for everyone.
Want to help βbreak the iceβ for a fellow neighbor in need?
We need additional volunteers to help as many residents as possible.
