Rush to Crush Cancer as featured on KDKA's PTL
The Rush to Crush Cancer is an annual charity bike ride held in Pittsburgh, PA, aimed at raising funds for innovative cancer research.
100% of the funds raised from this event go directly to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center to support cancer research initiatives.
The event includes a 15-mile ride through the city, providing full medical and mechanical support, rest stops, and SAG assistance. Participants can engage in various ways, including riding, donating, or volunteering, all contributing to the common goal of advancing cancer care.
## Get a RUSH from volunteering
We count on volunteers to get the gears turning, helping participants reach their goals in the first-ever Rush to Crush Cancer bike ride. So grab your friends, family, and co-workers and sign up to volunteer. We will see you at the event.
Requirements
- Volunteers under age 18 on event day must have a parent or legal guardian complete the registration waiver.
- Volunteers under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Due to the length of most shifts and the unpredictable nature of the event, we cannot permit children under 12 to volunteer or accompany registered volunteers.
- Some volunteer positions are more physical than others. Be sure to read the job description before signing up.
- You may be asked to be reassigned at check-in to fill more critical areas.
- Every registered volunteer receives an official volunteer shirt. Sizes are not guaranteed.

- โพ MIRACLE LEAGUE BASEBALL GAME! - MAY 17 - MVP Volunteer Orientation Game! ๐Graham Park, Cranberry Township, PA
MIRACLE LEAGUE BASEBALL!
Let's step up to the plate to help support the Miracle League of Southwestern PA!
NOTE: This is a MVP volunteer orientation event only - so we can get a feel for what to expect when volunteering throughout the season on behalf of the Miracle League.
Further information can be found below with details to follow for future games!
The Miracle League of Southwestern PA website
About Graham Park:
o Everybody must follow the posted speed limit (either 5mph or 10mph; it's enforced).
o The exclusive field for all ML games (assuming entering the Park from Rochester Rd) is on the right as you drive past the first regulation softball field, also on the right.
o The ML has exclusive parking spots on the far-end of the lot. Signs are posted.
o We will likely have water and/or Gatorade. However, my suggestion is to bring one's own. ONLY water is allowed on the field surface ie, colored drinks are prohibited on the field.
o There's a "canteen" that is open a short walk from the field. However, I've not eaten anything there, as I'm usually on my way to umpire.
o There is one bathroom each for males and females behind the brick hut. There are more bathrooms at the canteen.
o It is VERY strongly suggested that folks on the field NOT wear flip-flops or sandals. This is a "safety for all" request! Sneakers are the footwear of the MLSWPA!
