FIRST TEE - PITTSBURGH WEBSITE
The First Tee – Pittsburgh food concession stand is located at Hole 7 Green. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the volunteer check-in area.
Please note: You must be at the check-in location by your scheduled shift start time. After checking in, you'll walk to the Hole 7 Green concession stand.
Slip-resistant shoes – These are mandatory for food concession work.
Khaki pants or shorts
First Tee – Pittsburgh will provide all volunteers a t-shirt at the start of their first shift in the food concession as a small thank-you. This shirt does not need to be worn during your shift(s).
Aramark will provide a smock (to be returned after each shift) and a hat (yours to keep).
Credential Pick-Up
Starting Monday, June 9, your credential can be picked up at the security tent, located at the volunteer check-in area shown on the map in the Aramark document. The shuttles from Monroeville Mall (Blue Lot) and Hartwood Acres (Red Lot) will drop you off at the location by check-in.
You may pick up your credential—even if your volunteer shift is later in the week. For example, if your shift is on Friday but you plan to attend the U.S. Open earlier, you’re still welcome to pick up your credential in advance.

EVENT INFO
We’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to volunteer at the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club next June 9-15!
Volunteers will work at food concession booths during the tournament, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to supporting First Tee – Pittsburgh’s mission to empower youth through golf and life skills programs.
This effort aims to raise $20,000 for our organization!
ABOUT FIRST TEE
At First Tee - Pittsburgh we provide programs built on positive youth development. Our Golf and Life Skills Clinics provide the proven elements: safe places, intentional and trained caring adults, and developmentally appropriate and empowering curricula.
No child or group is ever turned away for inability to pay. In addition, all equipment is provided, free of charge. Contributions we receive help economically disadvantaged children participate in our golf and life skill clinics.
First Tee’s program teaches core values inherent in the game of golf, including confidence, respect, judgment, responsibility, courtesy, honesty, sportsmanship, integrity, and perseverance.
The Pittsburgh chapter is based at The Bob O’Connor Golf Course in Schenley Park. Together with locations in Stowe Township, North Park, South Park, Penn Hills, Butler, Beaver Falls, and Elizabeth, we serve over 1,600 area kids in certifying programs, 3,000 in outreach programs and over 16,000 in our School Program. These young people have fun lessons in putting, chipping, pitching and full swing while they also learn self-management, goal setting and interpersonal communication. Our trained coaches and volunteers maintain a 6:1 ratio so the lessons are activity based and personal. This program creates positive relationships that inspire young people to discover their individual potential.
RSVP NOTE
Please understand that your RSVP needs to be an otherwise FIRM COMMITMENT. We understand that life happens and sometimes things come up that may force people to cancel, however the organization is counting on us to follow through with our willingness to volunteer.
