Help your fellow MVP volunteers, in cooperation with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, in reaching out to those in a local community in need of it the most!

2. RSVP WITH MVP
What to Expect
Please arrive 10 min early prior to the event for a volunteer briefing by the GPCFB staff.
We will be serving as a group volunteer team assisting with the distribution of food at the McKeesport Area High School.
Please dress appropriately for the weather (that you don't mind getting a little dirty) and closed toe footwear.
Volunteers will assist with loading the trunks of vehicles with loose grocery items, directing traffic or registering vehicles within the distribution line. Drive-up distributions occur outside, rain or shine.
Requirements: Closed-toe shoes are required. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old to participate in drive-up distributions.

Please understand that your RSVP needs to be an otherwise FIRM COMMITMENT. We understand that life happens and sometimes things come up that may force people to cancel, however the organization is counting on us to follow through.
Weather Conditions Permitting
If adverse weather conditions are forecast, I may find it necessary to cancel and/or reschedule. I will keep all attendees informed in advance if this need should arise.
