What to Expect

We will be joining a multitude of other volunteers in honoring the memories of and paying tribute to thousands of fallen US service members buried at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. We will each render our respects for at least one fallen service member by saying their name, having a short moment of silence, and laying a wreath upon their grave.

From Wreaths Across America

Wreath placement immediately follows the ceremony at 12 pm. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to lay a wreath, please only take 1-2 wreaths and take the time to reflect on the veteran's sacrifices and say their name to keep their memory alive.

Parking

We are very blessed to have an outpour of community support for our event. Because of this, traffic and parking can be very challenging. We encourage you to carpool and plan to arrive early if possible as parking is limited. We will have the local police to help manage traffic again this year.

Parking and Shuttle Service

Parking and shuttle service will be available again this year.
Please park at the Crown Castle carpool lot:
1500 Corporate Dr
Canonsburg, PA 15317
Please park in the 1500 lot.
Shuttles will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Please note there are no public restrooms available at the parking lot.

What to Wear

Please dress appropriately for winter weather as we may be waiting an extended period for the ceremony to begin and may be standing around for a prolonged time throughout the duration of the ceremony. Bring along gloves, winter caps, coats, insulated footwear.

Note

Please fell free to contact the Organizer at any time leading up to the event if you have any questions, input, or are willing to offer your own vehicle to help out in car pooling our group's volunteer members to the ceremony.
