GPCFB Event Description:

Mark Your Calendar for March 15th!

Enjoy a friendly, informal meal with friends and neighbors including nutritious soups, hearty bread, tasty treats and your choice of a hand-crafted bowl.

We invite you to join us at our 29th annual Empty Bowls signature event!
Empty Bowls is an opportunity for local potters to donate handcrafted bowls, and local restaurants to donate freshly made soup so guests can come together and fill their empty bowls. This event supports our neighbors in need by benefiting both our Food Bank and Just Harvest.
The event will take place at Rodef Shalom in Oakland, and there will be both dine-in and takeout options. Dine-in is a lovely way to meet your neighbors through the community table style seating, and takeout is a great option if you want a bowl and soup but would prefer to enjoy at home. Our takeout option welcomes guests through a separate entrance, which will be clear through onsite signage.

Guests

Please note that any guests that you want to bring to help out will need to be registered with the GPCFB, They are always welcome to join MVP as well!
