Hi, thanks for wanting to be an event host.
Our "Friendly Socials" site is all about inclusiveness and fun. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the events they participate in and to tell others about our events so they will continue to return.
- Ensure your profile has some interesting info about you and a clear photo of you.
- These are one-on-one events, but you can have more hosts or more attendees if you choose to.
- The more friendly/entertaining you can be will ensure people will book you again. However, ensure you have fun too!
- If you need further info on anything or tips on running events, please let me know. If you would like a very detailed set of instructions on how to run an event from start to end, this can be provided too. However, this is your event so you can run it how you like.

The main activities people enjoy are often what is more difficult to do alone or hard to try with little experience when you don't have a friend to show you the ropes.
For example:
A gym buddy to help you with a simple training regime or with nutrition ideas or just helping to spot each other.
Dine and chat for those who prefer not to eat alone but really want to try the new eatery. Or are interested in good conversation while they eat.
Drinks after work or on the weekend when you need to get out but all your friends are married with kids or just prefer to stay home. Or maybe you don't know any good places and just need someone to show you all the good happy hour spots.
Sports that are better done with two someones who actually enjoy the game. Even better if they can give you some hot tips.
Jogging, trail walking, hiking, climbing are all fun activities you can do alone but might be more fun if you can occasionally do them with someone who knows new places which you have never been to before.
Movies, gaming, mini golf and all the other easy but fun things you always wanted to do but your friends or partner just did not have the time. Now you can see your favourite movie and have the ticket bought for you and snacks paid for without having to think about it. That's your host's job!
