About us
The purpose of this group is to share the love of Latin dancing! We specialize in running parties/club events that start with beginner Salsa and/or Bachata dance classes. We have found people are more willing to come out to a bar or nightclub to check out a dance class for their first time rather than a dance studio which can often be intimidating. It certainly eases any anxiety meeting new people, being out of your comfort zone, and learning a new skill when you're able to having a drink or two as well!
Anyone looking to have fun while making new friends and learning how to dance should join this group! We tend to get a lot of travelers as well as locals coming to our events. No partner necessary, we rotate partners in class. Most people come solo, though it is also fun when you come with a group. Beginners welcome! We always have a good mix of beginners and experienced dancers. Good vibes only!
We run social events every Friday and most Saturdays and public holidays! We run our events out of about 5 different venues in Prahran, South Melbourne, Collingwood and St.Kilda.
Events are usually $20-30 depending on how many classes you do or which venue. Our weekly friday event is completely free.
