Welcome, film freaks and geeks.
Are you the type who gets pulled into a story but still notices the details—the soundtrack, cinematography, awkward silences, shared laughter, subtle emotional shifts, strong scripts, and great writing?
Most importantly, if you miss that real cinema experience—something alive and shared that just doesn’t translate at home—this is your place.
We’ll watch a mix: cult classics, dark gems, beautiful weirdness, underground favourites, iconic soundtracks—and the occasional big release actually worth leaving the house for.
No heavy film snob energy (well… minimal 😉). No pressure to perform socially.
Just real people showing up as they are—chatty, quiet, tired, curious, or somewhere in between.
Sometimes we’ll debrief over a drink or tea. Sometimes we’ll just sit with it and head home. Both are completely fine. Occasionally, we may meet beforehand depending on session times.
As the group grows, you’re welcome to suggest films and help shape where it goes.
Come solo or with a friend. Be a little awkward. Be passionate. Be exactly as you are.

And just so you know—I’m middle-aged, but you don’t have to be. Film is for everyone.
