Beaman Park

Details
Let's have an adventure together!
Fee: none
We'll meet at the Beaman Park Nature Center (where you must park) and hike to the campsite. Park near the trailhead.
The Nature Center is located at:
5911 Old Hickory Blvd, Ashland City, TN 37015
The hike is an approximate 6.5 mile moderate to hard hike through beautiful Beaman Park. The hike starts out fairly easy but has elevation gains towards the end of the hike that puts it in the hard category. No worries though because we'll stop and rest as we go along. We've got all day to hike in so there's no rush.
We will stick together as we hike.
We'll be crossing a stream along the way. If there is water in the stream we'll fill up our water bottles if needed. What this means is we MUST carry several liters of water in per person because water on the trail is never a guarantee.
We may not have a campfire (not negotiable is what I was told) but we may bring our camp stoves.
Pleas bring plenty of water, enough food for the trip, camp stove, sleep setup, etc. Hiking poles would be helpful but not necessary.
