About us
Memphis Singles Live Music and BBQ Nights leans hard into the two things this city does better than anywhere, and uses them to get single people around the same tables. We organise group outings to live music spots, from blues on Beale to neighbourhood stages, and we bookend the music with proper barbecue, eaten together at long tables where conversation is unavoidable in the best way. The music gives every night a heartbeat and the food gives everyone a reason to linger.
No musical knowledge is required and dancing is optional but tends to happen anyway. The group welcomes singles of all ages, and hosts make a point of connecting newcomers before the first set starts. Going out alone to hear a band feels strange. Going out with forty other singles to hear a band feels like a very good Friday. Join us for the next one.
