Level Up Your Money Game
From your first big paycheck to your first big purchase — smart strategies for lasting wealth.
You’ve worked hard, landed that job, and the paychecks are finally rolling in… but what do you actually do with your money?
Whether you’re:
- A college student about to graduate
- A young professional with your first real income
- Or someone who’s been working for years but still feels like money slips through your fingers…
This event is for YOU.
We’ll cover the real-life money moves no one teaches in school:
buying a home, navigating car choices (lease vs. purchase), building investing strategies, creating saving and giving habits, understanding life insurance, and making sense of HSA vs. FSA benefits. We’ll also talk about how to avoid lifestyle creep, how to balance student loans with saving and investing, and what really drives your credit score and debt management.
This isn’t a lecture—it’s a roadmap for taking control of your financial future. The goal is to help you make smart choices, avoid common money traps, and build a foundation for lasting wealth.
About the Speaker
James Miller, CPA | CEPA, brings both professional expertise and personal experience to the conversation on financial literacy. Earlier in life, he was a single father, learning firsthand how to stretch a paycheck and make tough financial choices that could impact his family’s future. He’s worked in sales—cars and insurance—and along the way has learned how to navigate investing, insurance decisions, HSAs, and other real-world money choices that don’t come with an instruction manual.
Now, with a new family and a fresh set of responsibilities, James continues to apply those lessons while helping others do the same. As a finance and technology leader, he leverages his background to guide people toward making smart choices, avoiding common pitfalls, and building lasting wealth with confidence.
