Mempy July 2025 - Hands On FastAPI Workshop

Update 2: I have a personal matter this evening that requires my attention and will overlap with the meetup. I'm going to have to push it to next week, Aug 4. Even though it's in August it will be the July meeting. And the August meeting will probably be the 4th Monday again.

Update: My plans for this month fell through. Due to some logistical issues, the workshop I had wanted to do will have to be tabled. i still want to have a meeting on Monday so how about a hands-on FastAPI workshop? Bring a free, personal GitHub account to be able to follow along with GitHub Codespaces and if there is time I'll also show how to deploy to Azure. We'll do hands-on with Azure AI Services another time.

Also, I reiterate my goal of having as many non-Douglas speakers going forward. I have a network that I can leverage and I don't have a problem with that. But I also want folks from the group to share what they have as well. Again, you don't have to set the world on fire with a revolutionary 3 hour presentation. Just 10-15 minutes about something you recently learned. I'm happy to have a meeting full of 10-15 minute presentations that get conversations started.
