Memphis Data Professionals Networking Night

Join Memphis Data Professionals for an evening of structured networking, meaningful conversations, and new connections within Memphis’s growing data and technology community.
This event will bring together data analysts, engineers, scientists, developers, business intelligence professionals, technology leaders, founders, students, and others interested in data. Whether you are an experienced professional or just beginning your career, you are welcome to attend.

Speed Networking
Participants will meet one-on-one at tables and rotate to a new conversation every three minutes and three seconds. These brief conversations provide an easy way to introduce yourself, learn about another professional’s background, and identify people you would like to reconnect with later in the evening.

Networking Bingo
Each attendee will receive a bingo card containing professional prompts such as:

• Works with Python
• Uses SQL professionally
• Has built a dashboard
• Works in data engineering
• Has experience with AI or machine learning
• Owns a business
• Is currently working on a data project

Find someone who matches each prompt and write their name in the corresponding square. Each person may only be used once.
The first three attendees to complete bingo will receive prizes. Fourth place will receive the highly distinguished pinto bean, and fifth place will receive one whole dollar.

Open Networking
Following the structured activities, we will take a group photo and transition into open networking. This will give you time to continue conversations, exchange contact information, and reconnect with anyone who stood out to you during the evening.

Agenda

• Mix and Mingle — 15 minutes: Grab some food, meet new people, and connect with members of Memphis’s data and technology community.
• Speed Networking — 30 minutes: Participate in short, structured conversations and meet someone new every three minutes and three seconds.
• Networking Bingo — 30 minutes: Find professionals who match the prompts on your bingo card and compete for prizes.
• Group Photo and Open Networking — 30 minutes: Take a group photo and continue conversations with the people you connected with.

Professionals and learners of all experience levels are encouraged to attend. Come prepared to share what you do, learn what others are working on, and build valuable relationships within the Memphis data community.
