Let's Talk GitHub Actions - Memphis (Virtual) Python User Group

IMPORTANT: The Microsoft office in Memphis is open!
You are welcome to join us either in person or virtually via Teams. Meetup will not allow a hybrid event so I am leaving it as 'online' so I can post the Teams link. However we invite those who are local to attend in person at 6750 Poplar Ave. (corner of Poplar and Kirby). Use the north (not Poplar Ave.) entrance after hours. Microsoft is on the 8th floor. There is no charge to park at the Microsoft office. We will continue to broadcast the in-person meetings from Microsoft to accommodate those wish to attend and speak remotely.

GitHub Actions is GitHub's workflow automation engine, allowing you to automate almost anything related to GitHub. You take tasks, called "actions", and combine them to create custom workflows to do things such as build/deploy code. Using GitHub Actions you can automate off of any event GitHub can throw. In this session you will learn both some basic and advanced Actions concepts, and walk away with workflows and ideas you can use in your environment.
