Technical Talk: JSON Amalgamation

Bryce Sharp will discuss JSON Amalgamation. JSON Amalgamation is the process of parsing json structures to create their superset. We can transform our superset amalgamation into an OpenAPI specification yaml file, thus helping us automagically document decades of legacy code. At Ookla we receive tens of millions of requests a day and have terabytes of json stored in our data lake. We can parse our data lake and create the amalgamation of all actual requests, while continuing to amalgamate new reports each day. This automated process will assist our developers in delivering quality documentation.
