MCM's MOVIE NITE & CUDDLE! Oct 12. "Things Like This."

Hi Guys, welcome to our second MOVIE NITE/CUDDLE! The featured film is "Things Like This." Do opposites attract? Can a skinny guy and a plus-sized guy find their happy ending in gay culture? What happens when a bear and an otter walk into a bar? Join us in October to find out.

We had good turnout for the first Movie Nite, so I'm hosting another for October. *** Do let me know if y'all like the idea of a monthly movie nite -- or should we alternate with a monthly regular cuddle nite? ** *

When THINGS LIKE THIS came out, a few of my friends wanted to see it but missed it. I'm intrigued by the attraction/dynamic of a bearish type dude and a thinner dude. And the cast looks appealing. Here's a review from Rotten Tomatoes. The film got 65%, enough to qualify as a ripe tomato. Here's a review from there:

The film is 1.5 hours. We might go a bit over two hours for the event.

I suggest those most interested in the movie can sit closer to the TV -- cuddle with your partner on the futon or the floor cuddle mats. Those most focused in the cuddling, you might call for dibs on the bed or floor mats further from tv.

While we encourage folks to be open to cuddling all -- we also understand that sometimes two guys are not compatible. So cuddle accordingly. The event is cuddle-optional as well as clothing-optional.

Again remember when you RSVP that you send me an email so that I can mark you as attending. THE FEE IS $28. We NO LONGER accept cash or Paypal.

We have room for no more than ten. Late responders will likely be disappointed. Come on up to Dwight's cozy penthouse studio on the 29th floor overlooking the city. Get away from the hustle and bustle -- and join us for two hours of cuddles and/or sensual nipple play. This is Clothing-Optional so you can wear as much -- or as little as you please! Express your wishes and boundaries.

Minimum number of cuddlers needed for this event to happen is 6. Come out and cuddle with us. Events all take place on the north side near Montrose and the lake. What are the benefits of cuddling? It's been proven by science that nurturing touch/cuddling boosts one's feeling of being cared for, and decreases depression/stress. There's lots of science of this -- lowering blood pressure, increasing resistance, the release of oxytocin which is a neurotransmitter that makes you feel nurtured and safe. Babies who are not touched have been known to die of skin hunger. People who cuddle live longer!

FIRST HOUR (WE ARE ON OUR FEET)
-- We start with a WELCOME CIRCLE where each person introduces themselves. Shades are drawn, room is darkened. Please share if you are seeking a Therapeutic Cuddle or a Sensual Cuddle.
-- About half an hour is for HELLO HUGS where one gets to embrace most of the others in the room for 5 minutes each (hugging, body exploration, caressing). Often this is where newbies start to relax. The movie is 90 minutes so we will start the movie with the Hello Hugs.

SECOND HOUR (WE ARE LYING DOWN)
-- We do 2-3 cuddle sessions about 20 minutes each. You can use the bed, futon, or foam mats.
-- The last cuddle is your choice! It can be a Three-way Cuddle or Two-way Cuddle. (In Three-ways, each man takes turns being in the middle, touched by the others.)

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS, NO DATE CHANGES. Most members are gay men and they identify as male.

DO'S AND DON'TS
* DO. Cuddling can be nurturing or sensual. Spooning, face to face, massaging, nip play, body exploration, hardons ok. When in doubt, ask for permission.

* DON'T. This is not sexual. No oral, no penetration. Cumming is not the purpose, but if it happens please clean up. PLEASE come with your body and beards freshly showered, and fresh breath. Candy or fresh mints are good. Body odor and food smells are a turn off when cuddling up close! Freshen your deodorant before leaving the house.

Always speak up if something comes up that you are uncomfortable with. And to speak up if there is something you'd like to ask for. Also this is communal cuddling. It's based less on physical attraction and more on knowing we all need to be touched. On the other hand, everyone has the right to say yes or no to a cuddle. Not everyone may be comfortable with everyone and that's ok. If driving, it's best to park on the street. There is limited guest parking below my building that's $21. No attendant. Some say it's user-unfriendly.
