About us
We exist to, "Enrich Lives Through Singing"..... those of our singing members and those of our community who we sing for. Weekly open rehearsals are led be experienced, degreed music leaders, who prepare us for (approximately) monthly performances. We sing a great variety of 4 part a cappella music, including broadway tunes, americana, patriotic and spiritual. Guests welcome at our weekly rehearsals Wednesdays from 6:45-8:45 at St. Matthias Church, 1 Dundee St, Asheville. Guest music books provided. Singers welcome to try different parts. MIH Benefit Concert at St. Matthias Episcopal
St. Matthias Church, 1 Dundee St., Asheville, NC, NC, USA beautiful church and wonderful 4-part a’ Cappella harmony singing!
St. Matthias Episcopal Church is a parish founded in 1865 as the Freedmen's Church, St. Matthias believes itself to be the oldest African-American congregation in the city.
A freewill offering will be taken and all concert proceeds will go to the care and support of St. Matthias Church, our Men In Harmony weekly rehearsal location. A small group will supply music for the 11am service and we will all gather at 3pm for a 4pm concert and with socializing afterwards.PLEASE SEE NOTES ABOUT PARKING
