About us

This is a reading and discussion group for people who are not satisfied with surface level conversations, motivational slogans, or quick conclusions.

We read difficult books and sit with difficult ideas. Philosophy, literature, psychology, theology, and existential thought are our main terrain. Authors like Dostoevsky, Sartre, Camus, Hemingway, Nietzsche, and others who wrestle seriously with meaning, suffering, freedom, faith, and responsibility.

The goal is not to “win” arguments or perform intelligence, but to think together with honesty and intensity. We slow ideas down, examine them from multiple angles, and allow them to challenge our assumptions about life, morality, God, human nature, and ourselves.

This group is for intuitive, reflective minds who enjoy deep engagement and are comfortable with ambiguity, disagreement, and unresolved questions. Expect long conversations, thoughtful listening, and moments of discomfort. That discomfort is usually a sign that something real is being touched.

This is not a casual book club.
This is not self-help.
This is not debate for sport.

It’s a space for serious readers and thinkers who want to explore the deeper currents beneath everyday life and understand what it actually means to be human.
