In less than 6 months after winning the Hackathon APAC winners Orangeleaf Consulting bring their application live.

What was the case again ?

New Hope Community Services is a growing organization that is continually trying to meet the needs of the homeless community in Singapore. As different teams run separate and complementary services for their clients, they face the challenge of keeping track of their programmes, registration and feedback. Valuable labour hours are spend on keeping track of the programmes and clients instead of actually helping them. How can NHCS digitize and automate their work so more homeless can be supported?

Speakers:

Ashley:
Ashley is a Mendix Consultant in Orangeleaf Consulting. Her focus in Orangeleaf Consulting is to provide solutions, manage projects and develop applications for our clients. She joined the Orangeleaf Consulting team in July 2021 and will be hitting her 2 years milestone soon. She is part of the winning team for the 1st Mendix hackathon (MxHacks) held in Singapore last year.

Vanessa:
Vanessa is a Social Worker and Research Analyst from New Hope Community Services. Passionate about life and people, she believes that we are called to live a life greater than ourselves. As a story enthusiast, Vanessa enjoys listening and sharing the narrative of others and herself. She believes that voices deserve to be heard, and people deserve to be loved. Vanessa is an advocate for the collective and has an interest in innovation.
