Details

What does it mean for you to be a father, step-father, fathers-to-be, father figure, foster father?

What challenges are you currently facing?

Would you like to hear how others have met similar challenges, so you can learn from their experiences, rather than going it alone?

We’re told a good father must show strength (but also vulnerability), keep children safe (but also empower them), show authority (but also be fun), teach boundaries (and yet be intimate). The list goes on and on…

We’d like to invite you to share a safe space with other fathers and talk about what matters to you. Share your experiences, your dilemmas, breakthroughs, questions and fears. Whatever the age of your children - babies to adults - we'd like you to join us and explore the sometimes wonderful and occasionally bewildering world of being a father to another human being.

We might explore:

  • What you learned from your father and how this shapes you as a father.
  • Your relationship with your children, who now have another father in their lives.
  • Being a good parent team with your partner / co-parenting with a separated or divorced partner.
  • Coping with sibling rivalry.
  • Coping with teenagers.
  • Managing your temper when things get a bit out of control.
  • Having your adult children living with you.
  • Changes in your sex-life when a baby arrives and beyond this.
  • Supporting a child with depression / modern day challenges.

We've created a community of fathers willing to get real, learn about themselves, listen to the stories of other men and become the best fathers they can be.

We are not parenting professionals waiting to answer your questions and tell you 'the answer'. We're all in it together and we're here to share the journey of conscious parenting with others fathers, learning from one another's experiences so that we can all live better, more fulfilling, calmer, happier, peaceful lives - beyond our own childhoods, fears and programming (whilst including the best of what we've experienced).
