About us
We spend a lot of energy keeping up with work, with expectations, with the version of ourselves we're supposed to be. This creates patterns many of us recognise in ourselves.
Pushing through when we’re already running on empty. The way we shrink our needs to fit a busy schedule. The version of ourselves we keep meaning to get back to, once things calm down.
Habits we keep returning to and behaviours that feel almost automatic. The patterns we’ve tried changing yet keep circling back to. 🫠
This group is an invitation to step off the treadmill for a moment. A space to slow down and explore these experiences through guided sessions, thoughtful conversations and shared reflections. To cultivate self-compassion and curiosity about how we think and behave, so that we can learn to enjoy change and growth.
Together, we explore topics like:
- what wellbeing really means, and how to build it into everyday life,
- understanding the habits and reflections that shape how we feel,
- how to grow in ways that actually feel like you,
- mindset, self-awareness and personal growth
- staying connected to yourself through periods of change and uncertainty
🌱 Who is this group for?
This space may resonate with you if:
- You’ve been feeling stretched thin and aren’t quite sure why,
- You’re curious about your own patterns, habits and ways of coping,
- You know you want to change your life, but not sure how,
- You value personal growth, but in a calm, realistic way,
- You enjoy thoughtful conversation and shared reflection,
- You’d like to connect with others who are asking similar questions
You don’t need any specific background, prior experience or knowledge to take part.
🌿 What happens at the events?
👟 + 💬 Some gatherings are walks in and around Brussels, moving at a pace where real conversation can actually happen. No agenda, no performance. Just honest discussion and good company.
👩🏼💻Some events might be smaller groups, themed discussions and online gatherings.
While each meeting will differ, sessions may include:
- shared reflection on topics connected to mental wellbeing, personal development, mindset and behaviour,
- gentle prompts to help you notice what’s going on for you,
- mindfulness or reflective exercises
- space to listen, contribute, or simply be present.
There is no pressure to share, nothing to prepare, and no expectation to arrive with answers. You’re welcome to come along and take part in whatever feels right.
But if you’ve been craving a space that goes a little deeper, this is it.
Everyone is welcome. Come as you are. 🌿

Mental Fitness Walk — coffee & conversation at Bois de la Cambre 🌳☕️👟
Stella - Coffee Food Bakery, Av. Legrand 13, Brussels, BEWe spend so much of the week keeping up. With work, with people, with the version of ourselves we're supposed to be. Saturday morning can be different. 🌿
Come and join for an honest conversation and a mindful walk with people who also get it. No pressure to share anything you're not ready to share. You can talk as much or as little as you like; sometimes, just being outside in nature with good people is enough.
This is part of a series of regular walks for the Mental Fitness Collective — a simple, free morning to step outside, move at a gentle pace, and be around people who aren't performing either.
📍Meeting point: Stella - Coffee Food Bakery (in front of the tram stop Legrand), where you can buy a drink of your choice (optional).
🗓️ Agenda: We'll take a relaxed walk through Bois de la Cambre and a full loop around the lake, about 4-5 km, at a pace where conversation feels comfortable. We'll finish at the roundabout at the end of Av. Louise.
Small housekeeping rule: What happens in the group stays in the group. Whatever is shared between participants during our time together stays between us. It is to make sure this feels like a safe place to be honest.
I'll be there to welcome everyone. Come as you are. 🌿
Free to join, RSVP to save your spot!
‼️Although this is a free event, I would like to ask you to try to respect each other’s time: In case you won’t be able to make it or change your mind, please cancel your attendance by MIDNIGHT, 31 July at the latest, so others might be able to take your place. Thank you!
I look forward to seeing you!
The event is weather-dependent.
This walk will run every other Saturday. Each one is standalone, so come whenever it works for you. Join our group, Mental Fitness Collective and get notified of our events.2 attendees
