### Depression and its nine potential causes
Join us for an online gathering where we’ll explore the topic of depression—an experience that touches many of us, whether personally or through someone we care about.
Together, we’ll look into the nine potential causes of depression as presented in Lost Connections by Johann Hari. Through guided reflection and introspective questions, we’ll explore the emotions and beliefs that may contribute to a sense of disconnection in our lives.
We’ll also take time to focus on reconnecting with what gives us meaning—and how to bring more of that into our daily experience.
This will be a supportive space where you’re welcome (but not obligated) to share your story, insights, or simply listen. Have a notebook or a digital device to capture your reflections.
📅 When: Thursday, May 15th | 19:30 - 21:30 (add it to your calendar)*
📍 Where: Google Meet (link available after RSVP)
* If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please update your RSVP—especially if there's a waiting list.
To maintain a secure and focused environment:
- The meeting link will be shared only with registered attendees
- A waiting room will be enabled, and you’ll be admitted shortly after joining
- Please have your camera on.
Let’s come together in a supportive space to explore, reflect, and grow. Looking forward to seeing you there!
General purpose of the Meetup:
Without a doubt, our mental health directly impacts our lives - from our work performance to our relationships with loved ones and our sense of well-being. So let’s meet up and have the vulnerable conversations. Let’s normalise sharing how we actually feel and what we’re going through, in order to make room for better experiences. Remember, each of us holds a unique story, and every voice is invaluable!
What to expect at this event:
- A warm atmosphere and a safe environment to discuss about mental issues/stressors
- People sharing personal stories of struggles related to mental health
- To make new connections and friends
- You are encouraged to share your story, but under no obligation to do so
Looking forward to expanding this topic with you,
Irina
