What we’re about

This is a virtual user group for anyone who wants to connect with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform enthusiasts. We will converge at times or meet individually to discuss industry topics, learn and share ideas and to uniquely engage. Partners, Customers, ISV's and everyone in-between can connect to share ideas and meet in person for some great networking.

These Meetups are a division of the Dynamics User Group (DUG), our industry's longest running independent Microsoft Dynamics community website. Founded in 1995, today DUG receives 80,000 unique visitors and over 250,000 page views per month.

Objectives of DUG Mentorship Program

1.      Identify and nurture potential future leaders within the user group by offering mentorship opportunities. Enable mentors to refine their leadership, communication, and mentoring skills by taking on a mentoring role within the user group.

2.      Cultivate a strong sense of community and camaraderie among user group members, enhancing the overall user experience through meaningful relationships, engagement in various activities and by offering an attractive mentorship program as a member benefit.

3.      Promote diversity and inclusion by offering mentorship opportunities to individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring broader representation within the user group.

4.      Foster the professional development of mentees by helping them set and achieve career goals, gain new experiences, and improve their employability. Coaching and support provided extends beyond professional skills, focusing on personal growth and well-being. (Specific technical skills are not a focus of this mentorship program.)

5.      Encourage the sharing of quality content about best practices, insights, and experiences among mentors and mentees, enriching the knowledge pool of the user group.

These objectives aim to create a mentorship program that benefits both mentors and mentees while strengthening the user group's sense of community and supporting its mission and goals. It's essential for user group leaders to communicate these objectives clearly to program participants and continuously evaluate the program's success in achieving them.
