Who Wants to be a Little Batty for a Night ?!?

Details
Hang out with the Park rangers at Bat Nights at Lucky Peak State Park, 10 minutes from downtown Boise. Have a seat under the Middle Shelter of the Discovery Unit (first entrance off of Highway 21) for a unique night experience.
From Idaho State Department of Parks and Recreation event promotion:
“We want to help you discover why bats should be your new best friend. Learn about the importance bats have to people, ecosystems, the economy, and the threats bats are facing.
Our mission is that you will walk away with a new appreciation for these "enigmatic sky puppies" and get to experience bats in a whole new way. This is a great opportunity for the whole family and Junior Rangers!”
Schedule
–8:30 pm - Presentation and educational / fun bat-centered activities - This is your chance to use a bat detector to listen for bat feeding buzzes and hopefully catch a glimpse of them flying in their natural habitat.
–20 minutes after sundown (~9:30 pm) - bat viewing time.
What to Bring
Camp chair, bug spray, family & friends
