Yurt Trip #4 - New Petersen Yurt Wood Splitting

Join us on Tuesday November 4th to give back to your community by wood-splitting to provide necessary winter supplies to the brand new Petersen Yurt operated by Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR). Carpooling in 2 large trucks is available by IDPR employees, but participants with 4WD/High-Clearance vehicles are appreciated.
We will meet our hosts (Zane and Hailey, IDPR employees) at the IDPR "yurt garage" off Warm Springs Ave at 7:30 am and go with them to the new yurt.
We will use 2 hydraulic wood splitters to split rounds and then stack them inside the wood crib and near the yurt. It's more fun than it sounds and the friendships you will make will be great.
