Educational Tour of Steele Apiaries (Honey Bees)

***SECOND TOUR OF THE DAY***

Are you curious about how one family manages over 4,000 hives that travel throughout Idaho, Montana, Oregon, California, and Washington, pollinating crops and producing incredible honey and beeswax? Then sign up for this event located right here in the Treasure Valley!

This 1.5 presentation/tour doesn't include live bees, but each person will learning about the bee life cycle, do a honey/honeycomb tasting, and use beekeeper's tools and equipment with one of our practice hives.

Everyone will have a chance to ask questions and gain greater insight into the life of a full-time beekeeper and the bees they keep.

~1.5 hour session / Cost is $5.00 per person (card or cash)
