Watch the World Championship Jet Boat Races

The world championship Jet Boat Races are coming to the Payette River between Emmett and Horseshoe Bend. This is the first time in 32 years the sport has returned to this area. This event may be your once-in-a-lifetime chance to watch the jet boats race on rivers.

The boats will race on both Saturday and Sunday (see attached event announcement and schedule). You can watch them from multiple locations, so either make your own plans or join us at Horseshoe Bend parking area at 9 am on Saturday, May 9th.

It is ordinarily 30 minutes from Eagle, but expect heavy traffic and delays, so leave Eagle no later than 8 am and don't expect to be back before noon to see at least one up and down legs.

A construction outhouse is available at parking area.

Bring a chair, hat, cooler, drinks/water, binoculars, and GOOD WALKING SHOES. No flip flops or sandals please for your safety !
