Join us to explore a few areas of Buhl centered around a presentation/tour by the owners of a dairy farm/cheese manufacturing company, Evans Farmstead Cheese.
SCHEDULE
- 8:30 am - 10:30 am - Highway and farm road driving
- 10:30 am - Quick stops at Balanced Rock and nearby Campground (see photos)
- 11:00 am - Evans Farmstead Cheese for Tour / Question & Answers
- 12:30 pm - (Optional) Francesca West (farm to table) restaurant that uses cheeses from our host facility
At Evans Farmstead Cheese, our host, Eric, will talk about his cows and youngstock and how they are cared for. We will then see how cheese is made at their facility. We will learn what a "cheese cave" is. We will experience a small sampling of their cheese products.
