Behind the Badge: Meridian Police Department Presentation & Walking Tour

Let's meet at 1223 E Watertower Street to learn more about the activities that the Meridian Police Department are engaged in through a presentation and walking tour of their facilities.

We will start at the Meridian Public Safety Training Center, built in 2015 and learn what a "Scenario Village" (completed in 2020) does to prepare officers.

We'll receive a brief show-and-tell of a patrol vehicle, and we will enjoy a visit from a specialty unit (e.g., K9 or drone operator, depending on availability).

We will likely end at the central station/code enforcement building across the parking lot (1401 E Watertower) so feel free to park in front of any of their buildings.

Of course, you do not have to be a City of Meridian resident to participate in this event. Comfortable walking shoes are best.
